USERS REVIEWS:

The brace is trim I find it does not interfere with my shoes at all. It goes on comfortably, doesn’t overheat too considerably. Gives a great range of motion for flexion of the foot, but you can really feel a resistive force that recommends it will not permit a lot a lot more than that. It gives transverse influence resistance, but doesn’t do a lot to stop damage from a mis-step: the elastic bottom indicates if you misstep onto the side of your foot, your ankle has full freedom of motion to twist that way.

I’ve bought two of these. 1 of them tore right away on reciept, the elastic back coming free of charge of its stitching. Closer examination recommends the stitching is just not that excellent it doesn’t seem to be reinforced, double stitched, or anything else. Appears unnecessarily flimsy for a sports item meant to be exposed to some abuse. The second I have worn much less frequently, but hasn’t provided me any problems.

All in all, it’s not bad for soccer (though stitching is flimsy relative to its cost). Outside of soccer I would not believe of employing it as an ankle brace, as most of its protection is in the kind of side impact protection (I’m seeking at you, APT prowriststraps.com, who sells this exact ankle brace below the name “ALL SPORTS brace”, which this brace most decidedly is not.)

It could hold your ankle tightly but not completely dead fixed, still can move swiftly.
